Department of Cardiology, Pomeranian Medical University, Szczecin, Poland The presented case report describes a female patient suffering from systemic lupus erythematosus, in whom dilated cardiomyopathy with progressive heart failure was a very first symptom of the disease. The advanced invasive treatment method, cardiac resynchronization therapy, was successfully applied to improve the quality of life, clinical symptoms, and exercise tolerance.
