Department of Cardiology, Turkiye Yuksek Ihtisas Hospital, Ankara Electrical injury, particularly alternating current, may lead to disease of conducting tissue or to myocardial damage, or even may cause sudden death. In the present case, the authors report a 22-year-old man who sustained extensive upper extremity trauma from a high-voltage electrical injury and manifested clinical signs of left ventricular heart failure.
