Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, Patras University Medical School, Patras, Greece A case of postinfarction ventricular septal rupture in a thrombolyzed patient is described. Coronary angiography revealed normal coronary arteries. The interrelations of long-term survival of postinfarction ventricular septal rupture, thrombolysis, and normal coronary arteries are discussed.
