Total Occlusion of the Left Main Coronary Artery in a Young Woman with Survival: A Case ReportAemodynamic Center of Athens Medical Center, Athens, Greece The total occlusion of the left main coronary artery (LMCA) is rare, and the survival depends on the existence of collateral circulation. The author presents a case of total occlusion of the left main coronary artery with survival in a young woman because he thinks this is a very rare case, owing to the sex and age of the patient.
