Montefiore Hospital, University Health Center of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Deep femoral artery aneurysms are rarely atherosclerotic in origin and in frequently rupture. A case of spontaneous rupture of an isolated deep femoral atherosclerotic aneurysm is presented. The computed tomographic, angio graphic, and clinical findings are discussed. These findings allowed preopera tive diagnosis of this lesion.
