Nonbacterial Thrombotic Endocarditis Complicating Mitral Valve Prolapse Presenting as Parinaud's Syndrome — A Case Report

Nonbacterial thrombotic endocarditis is the most common form of endocar ditis found at autopsy. Systemic embolization may complicate this condition in patients with mitral valve prolapse. The authors report a case of mitral valve prolapse and nonbacterial thrombotic endocarditis in which the presenting fea ture was Parinaud's syndrome.
