Thromboangiitis Obliterans—Its Overwhelming Incidence in Lower Limbs; A Plausible ExplanationA plausible explanation for the overwhelming incidence of thromboangiitis obliterans with gangrene in lower limbs (as compared to that in upper limbs) in a series of about 1000 cases is given. Based on that a simple local operative procedure is proposed to replace lumbar sympathectomy in early cases.
