Enlargement of the Superior Thyroid Artery: an Unusual Cause for a Cervical BruitSan Diego, California
San Diego, California An enlarged superior thyroid artery with increased blood flow to a large benign ade nomatous goiter was found to be the cause of a bruit in the region of the right carotid bifur cation. We have not been able to find mention of this cause for a cervical bruit in the litera ture.
